Then and Now
The photos above were taken at Josh's first official outing when he was one month old. Even wearing his bear-suit, he still looks so tiny.
He still loves to go in the carrier but now he is too big and heavy for me to carry. I can barely see over the top of his head. Do you like his "Cookie-Monster" coat?

Joni's Hard Work
Joni spent ages chopping branches off the laurel trees in our garden and at the front of the house. But then we had another problem - how do we get rid of the branches? I wish I had taken a photo of the mountain of branches and leaves, believe me it was a mountain.
The council said that they would collect it for free if we put the branches into brown bags for recycling. Joni tried to cut up the branches and put them into bags (you can see the bags in the photo) but soon realised that we would need about 200 brown bags, and it would take him weeks to cut up all the branches.

So we hired a shredder but the stupid thing didn't work! You can see it behind him; it cost us over £100 to hire for a week. Joni was really mad because he had had to drive to Stockwell to pick it up. Luckily we should get a refund.
Anyway, we had no choice but to ask a local landscaping contractor to come and take it away. They were not really interested because it is only a small job for them (half day's work) and it is their busiest time of the year. I had to practically beg them on the phone because we wanted the garden to be clear for the estate agent's photos. I think they felt sorry for us :)

They filled this lorry twice, piled high with branches and leaves. Hopefully we can get some money back from our neighbours.
Joni did more work in the garden, doesn't it look so much better now? We have also put down some more grass seed. The tables and chairs are from B&Q, we are definitely taking them when we leave!

Sam's Feet
We are doing a "no-mercy" clear-out of out flat ready for viewings and one of the things I packed away last night was Joni's 3D pin gadget. I had left it for ages because the last thing on it was Sam's little feet. This imprint of his little feet was done during Josh's baptism weekend in May.

With a jar of baby food to show scale. Couldn't think of anything else at the time :)
